I want to welcome you to digital marketing evidence with the aim to connect digital marketing research and practice. My objective is to close the communication gap and initiate continuous and valuable discussions and knowledge exchange between digital marketing researchers and practitioners.

After working for more than twenty years in industry and academia, I have noticed that research publications are not effectively disseminated, lacking opportunities to impact the marketing practice. On the other hand, marketing practitioners are under the pressure of day-to-day activities and tasks, limiting their abilities to search for evidence based information that inform decision-making and lead to higher performance.  

Digital marketing evidence will serve as a link between digital marketing researchers and practitioners by reviewing, analysing and summarising the latest digital marketing research findings. To enhance the impact of digital marketing studies and inform the marketing practice, the information will be shared using short form blogs and videos on weekly basis. This approach is effective to close the knowledge gap between the researchers that are trying to solve real world problems and the information that marketing practitioners need to access to achieve better digital marketing performance.

I invite digital marketing researchers and practitioners to be part of digital marketing evidence community to facilitate learning and growth and solve the problems that are facing the society, companies and customers.
